1. the lid has a filter where you put the tea or herbal tea.

   

2. Once the leaves are in the filter, put water in the cup and then turn it over. 

   

3. Let it infuse for as long as you want (usually 1-2 hours are enough for cold brew) For hot herbal teas, 10 minutes are enough.
