Beyo Incense – Natural Resin
Origin Somalia
The Boswellia sacra is a plant that grows up to 8 meters tall on the rocky surfaces of the Somali plateaus between 5 and 1230 meters above sea level. The Beyo is produced by incision between May and January and is collected after about two weeks. It is used for its precious perfume, which resembles myrrh, in religious ceremonies, and is also chewed as an oral antiseptic.
Beyo Fragrance
The fragrance of Beyo incense, similar to myrrh, is slightly citrusy between cedar and mandarin.
