The Shichimi Togarashi is a spice blend from Japanese tradition. It has a citrusy, spicy taste. It is mainly used in fish dishes, sushi, soups (great with miso soup). Excellent sauces can be created by emulsifying oil, vinegar, and lemon and then adding the shichimi.
